New User, have a question.

Hello there everyone, I have a question and was wondering if I can get some help;

Heres the thing, I've noticed on some screenshots of other users, that some desktop Icons are usually "A LOT" bigger than the default "Say 48". Now the way I know of to do so is by going the screen properties, then appearance, advanced, more advanced options, and scroll through the list and choose "Icon" and then select the size I want. But by doing that, the start menu Icon get bigger aswell, and with some themes, it makes it look UGLY! Is there another way to change the size of the Icons that I choose to place on my desktop and make them bigger using say Iconpackager, without having the start menu icons go bigger? Please take a look at Linkand look at the two icons top right. You'll prolly get a better idea of what I'm talking about.

Thanks in advance.

If you have bought ObjectDesktop, you can use stardock central to download IconX. IconX lets you adjust the desktop icons (not start menu) with animations, sound and their sizes.

You can make icons bigger through IconPackager (not all sizes work well as some icons are not rendered it those formats, most commons siszes are 32x32 64x64 adn 128x128), if you want just the right icons bigger like in the screenshot you posted: right click your taskbar > properties > start menu tab > customize > select small icons
