Continue Game Oddness

I won a game through what GC reported as an Alliance Victory, but in fact it was because the last planet of the Yor (the last surviving major race) defected to me. So far, so good. So, I declined to submit to the metaverse, and clicked on "Continue Game". I was back in the game, just like I should be.

The next turn, I won again. And the turn after that. It's as if the code checks the victory condition after the "Continue game", and doesn't see if it's the same one as triggered it last turn.
