Does Smart Exception Work on XP Pro?

I have had some CTDs in the last few builds, but Smart Exception does not appear to do anything. Should there be a popup when a crash occurs? Is data stored anywhere (I didn't see anything in the directory "Program Files\Common Files\Stardock\SmartException", where it is run)?

Technician,

When I run Smart Exception, I don't see it listed in the WinXP applications list, but I do see it listed in the processes list, so I know it is running. Is there anything that I need to set up at installation, or does it automatically work with Galciv? What should I expect it to do when there is a crash? Right now, I would not even know it was running if I don't look at the processes list. Nothing happens if Galciv crashes. Thanks.

smartex.exe is one of the processes running on my machine. Smartexception has an icon in my notification area of my machine. It loads every time I boot lucky every time I boot I run GalCiv. Can you find the exe and run it manually.

I have load automatically clicked
monitor stardock programs clicked
and run in tray is also selected

Technician,

I finally found out the problem. It seems I had an old version of Smart Exception installed, and no matter how many times I ran it, I never saw the main window come up. I just downloaded the version from the 12/11 thread, and I was able to get a crash report. Thanks for your help.
