CTD- Blank SmartEx Report!

Had a crash and Smart Exception detected the error. However, when I opened the log, it was blank! Does this sometimes happen? Seemed kinda odd.

The crash occured while I was watching my survey ship move after clicking on the turn button. I think it was about to explore an anomoly.
