Destabelise

I know this has probably been mentioned before but does The destabelising slider do anything yet? I get reports about Espionage, but not destabelise. If it is working how does it work. Will it help planets defect, does it reduce the target civilisations production?

I went and checked the manual. Not a lot on Destabelise but it does encourage planets to defect. Is that all it does?

Under Espionage it says that eventualy it will steal techs. Is this in yet? I have never had any mesage saying tech has been stolen either by my agents for me or their agents for another civilisation. What about counter intelegence? (Talking of intelegence did I spell that correctly ) :notsure:

I haven't noticed any "bonus techs" from spying- and I get to advanced level of spying within an enemy empire.

Destabilization seems to reduce AI morale, and can eventually cause wholesale rebellion.

As for tech theft, last I heard, that's one of the changes going into Beta 4.

No word on whether/how counterintellegence is going to be handled that I can recall.
