how do i delete this xp startup skin

i downloaded this program called style xp 2.0. it then put panther theme on and i chose the pirated xp startup wallpaper. however, upon startup it asks if i want to choose regular or bootscreen version. now i am trying to delete the bootscreen and just mess around with themes, but i decided to delete it all and figure some stuff out before i go screwing up my os. i deleted syle xp 2.0, but the bootscreen is still there. how do i delete the bootscreen so i can get back to where i was an hour ago?

I would {i can't believe I'm saying this] reinstall styleXP, set the bootscreen to the default (or whatever else you want) then uninstall it.

Most of the desktop customization / skinning apps I know are not always actively "doing" something. They are used to configure then the system uses that configuration until a new one is set by
the app.

You apparently did a config, then removed teh app. The config is in place for you until you activly change it again.

For the record, StyleXP is not a program I would recommend. Look to the Stardock apps to safely (and legally) modify your PC.

that solved it thanks. when i first got rid of it i figured it was something like that, but the "default" looked like just another skin so i figured it might just reset if i uninstalled.

i think ill take a few days break from OS alterations and read some material about safety etc. before i have another go with a better app.
