OB 1.99g and windows key tab?

having discovered 1.99g (and i had started to think that OB was dead) i have updated. on the plus side it looks like all of the rampent problems with the task bar getting "corrupt" have been fixed. i will post screen shots next time i catch it in the act if anyone cares.
however i have just uninstalled 1.99g because i simply cannot get Windows Key + Tab to work!
more specifically, it does work, on the windows taskbar, which is hidden, because i am using an OB taskbar, so a totally "random" program is selected, and i have lost keyboard access to my OB shortcuts! i use this to swap programs about 70% of the time, so loosing it is simply not acceptable.
can anyone confirm this one way or the other? i have tried 2 different themes, one is mine, one is a default, the same effect. i have rebooted, no difference. i have just pulled back my OB backup (the previous version) and Windows Key + Tab works perfectly.
