We Had Trashbags for Rainstorms

Amazing was an understatement
I'm still caught in the rain,
and I find that I can dance
much more freely when I know
that I can fall.

And we had trashbags for rainstorms
but they couldn't protect us
the wind blew too hard,
and the water flew too low
so I'm suddenly wondering
how all the sudden I am drenched
I manage to find shelter
and I smile as I realize
it's just another part of life
to get caught in the rain.

Sometimes you stay dry
and sometimes you get wet
but always you come out marked

Life is the rain,
sometimes you run from it, sometimes you walk to it
and sometimes
you just dance in it.
