Some cool features

I have a few ideas that would be welcomed additions to the game.

#1. An auto-colonize feature. You could specify the % of fullness you want to load your colony ships up with, along with the minimum class of planets you want to colonize. Then, if a planet matches the requirement, the colony ship would self launch and go there.

#2. Give the ability to set rally points for ship types at a global scale. When I want to start building starbases, it would be nice to be able to create a single rally point that all constructors would automatically go to instead of me having to set up each individual planet.

#3. The ability to set focus to military, social, or research production on a global scale for all planets. There are many times that I want to focus on building social buildings or military when I'm about to go to war, etc. It's a pain going through each colonly individually to set that.

#4. Put some kind of marking on starbases on the main map that can have their main purpose upgraded, like a morale resource can have still add another mining station. I personally build a lot of starbases, so it would be nice to see something like this because I don't always pay attention to how the research I am doing impacts starbases.

#5. Maybe add something in the espionage window for counter-espionage. This would allow you to reduce the effectiveness of other species' espionage on you. Plus, it might make it possible for an agent to get caught, hurting relations between the two species.

That's all I can come up with for now. You guys have a great game here! Though, to me, it is a cross between Master of Orion 2 and Ascendancy (If you know what that game is).

You can already do this. You simply increase your military funding and all your planets will produce more military and less social and research.

accually, you can. you should do it from the Military/Social/Resherch sliders in the econmy tab of the domestic affairs window.

lets see... we answered #2,#3, and #5. That leaves:

Let's work on answering these, people!

All good ideas...

1. Especially for large maps. I usually play small maps so it wouldn't be that important for me but for the occasional huge/gigantic map game it would be a great feature.

4. I have posted this several times but I have since learned to use the starbase detail screen and scroll through to see what needs what. Not as good as what you suggest but it will suffice since the change you and I suggest doesn't have a lot of support.

What I meant for #3 is the ability to "focus" all the planets so they produce more. Or does setting something to 100% automatically produce that result?

You can use the gal civ govenor thing to set the rally point for a specific type of ship?
