IconPackager 3.10 Crashes applying/installing a new package

I'm using Windows Xp with IconPackager 3.10. and everytime i try to load a new package, or even open the icon packager, it crashes with an error saying it encountered a problem and needs to close. the only way i can even open it is by uninstalling and then reinstalling it. adn all i can do is change icons. i can't install any new ones.

Hey bagginz, Adonia has been updated and now works fine, it was apparently a issue with being written in Chinese and the conversion to English.

You must load a iconpackage then iconpackager will crash. After that rebuild the iconcache with a other program. All the icons will show up corectly and iconpackager won't crash.

This shareware does not support Windows x64 installations, but the enhanced version does. Please visit stardock.com/products/iconpackager in January 2006 for a shareware version for Windows x64 editions.

After some troubleshooting, I seem to have arrived at a solution for my IP crashes (upon applying a theme). With my new computer I ordered a "Generic USB 12-in-1 Media Card Reader." This includes a driver (flashicon.exe) that loads upon startup and sets the icons for the four USB drives (CF, SD/MMC, Smart Media, and Memory Stick). I tried uninstalling the card reader driver as I thought it might be causing a conflict, and lo and behold, that did it!

If any of you that are having problems have a card reader, try what I did. I hope it'll help.

This may be a late reply, but I have to confirm what RogueSqdn said. I have a VAIO laptop with a built-in card reader. If I attempt to make any changes in IP while there's a card in the reader, it will always crash. But, if there is no card inserted, IP behaves as expected. I did not have to uninstall the card reader driver - just had to make sure that I ejected the card before making any changes in IP.
