Bought the game...or??

Hi,
just bought and downloaded the Drengin game manager (45 dollars), and is downloading the 55 MB Beta.
I was rather confused by a post on the usegroups.
Have I bought the game, or only the Beta version? I sure hope I pre-ordrered the game, or it will be twice as expensive as any other game I ever bought.
Looking forward to playing the game :-)

Galactic Civilization is in its second to last BETA.

The way I undertstand the Drengin.net.

If you purchase the Drengin.net you purchased every game on it for one year from the date Galactic Civilization hits 1.0 and any update to the Drengin manager.


Any further updates on games you can download and keep during that year. Once the year is up you can keep the games you downloaded forever or renew and continue downloading.

From what I read Stardock plans on keeping its Drengin.net members happy by releasing GC updates after 1.0 and releasing other games.

I bought the Galactic Civ game only, but what you said should apply to it as well then.

Ah, tried the game now, seems GREAT!

You should get the Galciv beta and final version and there has been talk of getting a cd for a nominal shipping charge.............

This game's going to stay on the drive for a long time............
