Quick Newbie Questions

Am I missing a message option in regards to diplomatic messages when it comes to AI’s declaring wars. It would be nice to know when civs go to war, and in most cases, who was the aggressor.

As well, the AI can make demands to remove starbases within their area, but is there a way for humans to do so?

+ Many new messages to human player to let them know if someone has gone to war with them because they've been paid off or some other reason.

From the beta 4A change notes.

Perhaps this will fix your issue. Just have started downloading it, so can't tell you if it's is what you want.

If I am not mistaken, you can decommision a starbase. Just select the starbase and you should see the command option on the left of the descriptive section. You get some money back (not enough to make it economically advantageous, by far), and the starbase disappears.

I think he was asking if he could tell the AI players to get the heck out of his empire.

Yeah - well, see, now - that would make a little more sense... Ooops...

While were on the topic of what you can tell the AI to go shove - is there any way to just flat out declare war on the AI without actually having to attack a unit of theirs? It doesn't seem to upstanding for the goody-two-shoes of us to have to resort to sneak attacks all the time.

No. You just attack them.
