Fleet attack bug?

Hello. I was playing the latest version (As of yesterday) and I noticed a bug i hoit several times. It happened when I assembled a fleet with, say, 5 Starfighters then decided to attack a planet. The declaration of war voting has been caled and as I didn't control the senate, I lost. The problem is that then it get back to the "Are you sure you want to declare war?" dialog and the cycle started again. Clicking no in the dialog mentioned didn't help and the only fix was use ALT+F4 to end the game.

I don't know if the is what was happening in your situation but the "voting cycle" will occur for each ship you are using to attack the planet.

another vote from me for a fleet activity that should behave like its one ship - like Guard and Sentry etc

Right, it's supposed to. There's a couple of other places that the fleets send multiple messages.

I have a different fleet suggestion. I sometimes build a fleet with 5 or more transports and 1 or 2 battleships for escort duty. While on auto-pilot, I've seen these battleships auto-attack nearby enemy ships. If my battleships lose, my transports are doomed. There should be a fleet option to avoid combat.

Yes, I was aware of that, but it was not the problem. With a fleet of 3 ships I gave up near the 10th time it entered the voting cycle.
