How do I get a good screenshot of DX stuff?

How do you take a screenshot of DX stuff? I usually use Gadwin Print Screen, but it doesn't see any of it.

I modified a object that Gef made and would like to show it if it's possible.

Thanks

There are many print screen programs but I use " Hoversnap " and that will capture Widgets , etc .

Just use the print screen key. Hit it, go to Paint, paste it in. Print screen copies the desktop to the clipboard as an image.

Thanks, I tried Hoversnap. It just maxed out my CPU. I actually have DX running as a completely alternate desktop. I don't know if this makes a difference.

I'll try the print screen and paste.

Thanks again.

Well, I don't believe it, but the print screen and paste into Paint works! Whereas Gadwin and Hoversnap would not.

Good grief! Good to know though. Maybe it will help others as well. Seemingly obvious, but.......

Thanks, I want to show everyone how much I can do, with my limited knowledge.

If Gef approves, I've done well!

I doubt it was hoversnap maxing you out..im running on a RAM shoestring these days. I thought you would have tried your print screen first. I prefer Hoversnap as I use it for making " stuff ' too

Glad your all set.

if you use Object Dock at all, then try Capture: Link
