Download/Install Question

I would like to download the beta at work (fast connection) and then take the files home and install it on my home computer.
Is this possible?

Also- do I need to connect to a stardock server every time I want to play or just for downloading updates?

Hi Simdream,
you only need to connect to the game for downloading the game and patches.
Of course, when you have finished a game, you can get your score on the "Metaverse" for all to see, and for that you have to be connected to the net.

As for taking the files home, I seem to remember hearing about the possibility of just burning the files to a cd and set them up at home, probably at the exact same directorys but it should be possible, although I havent tried it :-)
