Story in 4D?

Is the "main" story line missing in this beta? There are some things that point towards a larger picture, such as the likeness to humans of some aliens, and a few events seem to be part of a larger story.

If you click on the "encyclopedia" button at the top of this forum you will find a number of documents giving pieces of the history prior to the time the game starts. I think this is what you are looking for.

well, not exactly - It seems to me like Galciv will incorporate some kind of in-game story, there are hint's of a richly detailed universe, both in the Manual, the encyclopedia and in-game. Kinda like the 5 x's people are looking for in Moo3, or the attack of the antareans in Moo2.

But then again, I could be wrong, and there is no in-game storyline :-)

Razgon are you talking about the events??? I too want to know about this... I thought I read that during a game Events are suppose to happen that setup some type of story.. There are suppose to be a lot of Events so each game will be different... Anyone know more about how this works???

The cut scenes, which aren't in the beta, give a lot more detail on this stuff. The report on aliens, hwich isn't done yet, will also go into more detail on this.
