Trade goods trading

After looking thru numerous posts on trade good search, just wanted quick question answered. I traded some tech for an AI trade good (diplomatic translators) How can I actaully see that I got my goods or see the effects of them.

When I go to trade with another race they don't appear, I read this was because I can't trade a trade good I recieved from another race. That's fine but can I see where I have it somewhere and read what it does?

check your stat's to see if your" % " for that trade good have gone up.
ig: aprhodesiacs give 50% pop growth, chech to see if pop growth has gone up by 50%

There was a request to have TGs obtained listed somewhere on a panel but Stardock has decided, for some reason I can't remember now, not to implement that.
