Beta must be closed

I just purchased the Galactic Civilization w/beta Cd. After downloading the Drengin.net game manager, it will not allow me to connect be cause I do not have a valid serial number. I was entering my order number. As I looked at the confirmation e-mail it reads that the serial number status is: Shipped by Stardock. I can only assume that I will be unable to D/L the beta game. This is frustrating (I was lead to believe by others on the message board that the beta will still be available for download after Friday-yesterday), however, I will still be receiving the game. I'll just grin and bear it. (God, why did you have to crash the cable network yesterday???)

The reason you cant D/L the Beta is because you selected to have the beta mailed to you.. Your serial number will be sent with your CD... This is why I did not choose to get the Beta CD maild to me because I wanted the play the game NOW!!!!! ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Now that I hear we(Beta people) MIGHT get the final retail boxed game mailed to us, I was glad I did not get the Beta CD mailed to me...
