When trying edit script DesktopX Closes

From time to time I would like to edit scripts, when I select edit DesktopX closes. I would appreciate any help.

Reinstall Windows Script: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c717d943-7e4b-4622-86eb-95a22b832caa&DisplayLang=en

That tend to solve alot of issues with DesktopX. Espesilly when it's scripting related.
