....It's just a volcano. Nasty if you happen to live near it, but shouldn't have a mamoth effect. As far as I've read, it's not one of those "Super Volcanoes", so I wouldn't worry.

I'd be more worried about Yellowstone than this thing, especially if you don't live in or near Indonesia.

Volcanoes are very common, Etna never seems to stop erupting for example. The worst that will happen is an extremely loud bang when lava hits the water. Nothing to worry about if it isn't near you.

Sorry, cruel though it sounds, but I don't listen to the advice of a race of 6 million people who were killed by a dozen europeans. Those spanish put all their points into soldiering.

In all honesty though, I'm happy to make some... sacrifices of dear friends (naming no names, cough cough ), as long as you build the temple first

Oh the dozen europeans with plate armor, guns, and horses. way beyond Aztec Socitey at the time.

Like the Italians who conquered Ethiopia in WWII guns against spears who wins they guy who has to throw himself in harms way to get to you or the poised gunner with just a trigger to pull to kill you... if they were at the same tech levels they would have most certainly put up a more efficient fight no..
