Two quick questions about exporting DX Objects & Using Images.

Any help is appreciated!

I have made my first DX Object! (Strike up the band!)

Anywho, I'm using unusual fonts. So, my question.....do I need to submit the fonts with the object? Does it automatically "bring" them when I export?

Another question, I'd like to use an image instead of the default "bars" for my meters. I can't seem to do this. If you could offer some advice, I'd appreciate it greatly.

It's not much, but I'm really excited about it!

Thanks,
PC

I'm guessing you need to include the fonts - same as with WBs and such. If the user doesn't have the fonts installed it won't work

There is a function in DX where you can insert any file. You will need to do this to be sure that everything looks right.

Instructions here: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?Library=34&skinid=787

I can't seem to get your link to work Sir Zubaz.

Earlier it had that whole "Server Error" thing going on, and now, nothing on the page.

I had a look around and haven't figured out the function that you are speaking of.

If it's not to much to ask, could you double check that address? Or, maybe someone knows of some other literature. I had a look-see at the doc's that downloaded with Object Desktop, but I must be missing something.

I figured out the problem I was having with the images though (WOOOHHOOO!!!)

Thanks,

Well...I did embed one of the fonts. It's a system meter though and, I'm using an unusual font for the read-out.

I'm guessing that this would have to be installed separately? If there is another way, or will it work as is???

Hey Fairyy~ those are some really nice Lady Bugs! I wish I could create that glassy bubble look. Haven't figured it out yet though.

I think you can embed it. Trial and error time.
