Strange Votes in 4D

I tried to attack a minor race (as a Republic) and despite controling the Senate and having 63% approval, I lost that vote.

Stranger still, here's the voting: I (Federalist) got 37 votes. The other parties got 2, 5, 4, 1 and 0.

I count this as 37-11. Am I losing my mind?

This is, indead, confusing.

I think these values are the positive votes only. I think the vote was accually 49 to 51.

I think the war vote display should be more clear.

i remeber when i was at the republic level, the vote was 95 for and 5 abstentions. Maybe we need to see the total abstaining from the vote?

I too had this same sort of problem, 'cept I had lost control of the senate.

I just don't know what the votes displayed represent. I'd assumed various things, but I just dunno, so I can't figure out if its a bug or not. Quite confusing.
