Star Locations

I dont think this subject has come up. When you colonize a star located on the bottom most grid (not sector) of the map, the star name is not displayable. Ships leaving orbit appear on the side of the star, instead of bottom, which works fine. I suggest that the random map generator not place any stars on the outter most grid locations of the map.

I agree. Was thinking about this yesterday when I saw this. Need to just keep stars from being created there.

Brad,

Noticed on the v.huge test map that the spawning of stars was in small isolated clusters. I imagine it must be tough balancing star distribution with gameplay balance, but do you have any thoughts about gameplay and star distribution with 'mega maps'? are they simply reserved for editor maps & trial and error?.
