Any1 rdy to give GalCiv a marketting coup?

I started this on Apolyton at http://www.apolyton.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=75091 but it doesn't seem to create what I'd have wanted, so maybe some here will get in.

"Pre Scriptum: Make a reply if you change your mind or know someone that'd be in. If you wanna support this, make it take expansion by fansites, friends or else.

Let's make gaming history. Who around here is willing to give his body to GalCiv for a day? If we would be enough (20 or more???) to make the same thing, same day, we'd be the first fans in history that decide to build the game's marketting (normally, it's the opposite). So who around here would follow if I'd disguise with a cardboard sticked on me written "GalCiv rocks", and send a picture of ourself on Apolyton if we can? Something like green shirt, antennas, I dunno, up to be seen... I'd probably carry a banana in a hand. Maybe even some would be ready to pay Apolyton [or Drengin, who cares...] a 0.57$ fee (tax deductible, by check, mail or whattever Mark takes) for us to do it for them, just to make it even bigger? :D

Besides, this is NOT a joke. If it gets in gaming websites (GameSpot=paroxism), it would help SERIOUSLY. 10 000 bucks is NOT nothing. Marketting is a serious thing (except if you name me manager that is :D).

Who's in? Just looking to my ICQ, I already have a friend that'd be in. If you know someone that'd participate or pay 0.57$, say it (so I count it). Draginol, it's aimed at fans, but you guys certainly are fans of your own game, uh?

PS: besides... did I mentioned I'd probably go at university like this? [You can do it somewhere else if you prefer : any support appreciated]

EDIT:
Grand total last time I edited = 2 fans totally in
"

PS: I really think it could get to GameSpot, which would bring lot of people to the website but up to you... Draginol, do I have completely illusioned idea of marketting or soemthing for no one to answer on Apolyton???

Besides, this forum has a login problem it seems. I was logging in and it didn't gave my the window to post message, constantly bringing me back to login and pass when asking to post. I succeeded to post when I came back on GalCiv.com for something else and for odd reasons it seemed correctly connected.

I also know someone that tryed to subscribe and always got "This nick is taken".

I have practically no idea what you are talking about here??? Or else??

As for the rest, I have a vague idea what you want - we should market this an entire day, where we work or live, right? by carrying a sign, and some gimmick (your banana???).

Whats up with the 0.57 dollars though???

Is RubberDucky666 a Nigerian name? Because I think I've received an e-mail like this before. Although last time it was for more than $.57 American dollar. LOL

The 57 cents is just to be silly and bring people to see on www.galciv.com how crazy can be people paying 57 cents be. I wonder if we'd get a publicity for 2 minutes on GameSpot if we all sent them 57 cents lol
That's even better ;p
But if you participate, no need to pay 57 cents :D

Make a bus tour with some friends and "GalCiv rulez" on you, take... something... as long as it's all done same day. And for the banana, well it's an inside joke from Apolyton... Banana = bogus.

I think I have a thrid person that'd be in. Join plz... plzzz.. LOL

I think "Banana = bogus" says it all. Does every real person here agree that this entire thread sounds bogus? Perhaps we should just ignore it from now on.

Jack, who cares what it looks like if it can bring a news in GameSpot or else. But if people are believing it wouldn't help, then too bad... Some companies name themselves stuff like "Non-sense software" and stuff like that and it just made a few people look what they were up to. Their names look silly? So what if the product is awesome...

If it would work, you don't think it'd help? If no one answers this or is interested if we are enough (3 yet, 4th coming), I wont be silly and hit in the air but I'd hope to help. You're not obliged to like my for absurd (bananas...) but for GalCiv, maybe.

"my for absurd (bananas...)" -> "my TASTE for absurd"
