Just wondering...How long is a Turn?

Building and researching is measured in Months. Now and again I have noticed something will be completed 'Next Turn'. Am I right therefore in thinking that a Turn is a Fortnight?

A turn is one month. The calculation for project completion is listed as full months left to complete, with the remainder flowing into the "completed next month" period. If you are producing "soil Enhancement" at a cost of 50 production units and are spending 9 production units a turn, it will give a months to completion of 5 months and the last 5 units get "completed next turn". Unused production units get passed on to the next project on the queue (on ships for sure, and, I think, true for social projects).
