RaceImage limit

from GalCiv2 Forums
The UI only recognizes up until RaceImage99, so you can get a total of 99 race images. Where can I modify it to extended it to several hundred. So far, I have 226 different ones that aren't from the game.


The same goes for RaceLogo's. I have over 200 new ones.


Any help is appreciated.

i'd guess it's hard programmed. are you trying to diversify the minor races, or what?

I have 226 minors with 200+ logos....


And a custom write up for each, something similar to what the minors have now.

You can add more Images and Logos by renaming thus:
for example RaceImage_Vorlon and RaceLogo_Vorlon
or RaceImage_Dalek1, RaceImage_Dalek2 etc.

I image you can have as many as you want. I don't think the images and logos are linked to each other. I just name them similarily so as to minimize confusion.

Hmm.. there appears to be a cap.... I did the underscore thing, but did it with #'s like RaceImage_200 etc... and I broke them up to give them space so I could add more images into their appropriate categories...

but there appears to be a cap.. it won't display all of them.. and after a while, it starts to randomize them... I am gonna name some of the more interesting species and create personalities for them and the like...
