Daily Love Tip #8
Keep Only One Credit Card

There are few things that can put stress on a marriage like debt and the management thereof. So why not avoid credit cards altogether? Unfortunately, it is now impossible to rent a car, travel without carrying a large amount of cash, or carry out a half dozen other functions we take for granted without at least one credit card.
So don't cut up all your credit cards--cut up all but one and use that one sparingly. Imagine your lives without the stress and anxiety of worrying about unpaid bills. Life will be much simpler and your marriage more peaceful.
DEBT AND WORRY ARE SIAMESE TWINS.
Personal note: Actually, the things mentioned in the first paragraph can be covered with a debit/check card just as easily. My husband and I do not have ANY credit cards, but use our debit cards for nearly everything, and almost never carry much cash on us, unless we know we are going somewhere it will be necessary. If we can't afford to buy something and pay for it outright, then we just don't buy it...makes life a lot simpler.
