Total Conversion

Hello All,
Just wanted to know if there are any TOTAL CONVERSION mods out there yet? I see a lot of little stuff floating around, Race portraits, ships, logos ect... but nothing that seems complete.
I want to start my own Total Conversion MOD using a unique universe... just wanted to see if anyone else has done it... or come close...

I've started a kind of total conversion. Currently I have two custom tech trees, and three custom races (using portraits off the library, so not original).
I'm planning to release a beta as soon as I've dealt with a few little bugs and problems.
What I'm not doing is making new ships, because I don't have those skills.
It's just supposed to be a different universe with more unique races (thanks to individual tech trees).

I'm going to work on some total conversion mods soon, but I'm not really good at writing race stories, I prefer focusing on individuals. The ship classes will be named after characters of my original stories.

However, I am currently working the dialogue for a Jack Thompson mod, so that takes priority.

I wish I could make something like a total conversion. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or the skills necessary.
