So... I just joined up, d'loaded a skin, and WB and have some questions

OK... I got that aweseome skin... RoyalVista or something... first time i actually d'loaded a skin. OK, I got the Free Version, and its saying something about going out in 30 days. So... Win its gone, will this fab skin be gone?

And also... how do I install the "toolbars" and the Icons found on some links on the same page, https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SkinID=5654&LibID=1 ?

And is there any way to make the font better? If you look at the "w" (in the address there are always "w"s XD) it looks pixelated... probably buy some anti-alias.. "sharp" or maybe even "strong"... or "none" would've been good too

AND... I don't know if its only Firefox... but the window shakes... it scares me XD

The skin will still be in "C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds" folder, but WindowBlinds will no longer run and therefore, the skin will not be applied to the explorer shell.

At that point, you would need to either purchase the WindowBlinds program for $20 through Stardock.com, or remove WindowBlinds from your system.

The "Styler" toolbar, Y'z Toolbar, and "IconTweaker" programs are not really supported here, but you can do a "Google" search for the programs and the relevant home page of those programs should guide you to more information on installing and using those programs.

And is there any way to make the font better?


If you go into WindowBlinds configuration panel\User Overrides section, you will see a couple options for Fonts (size and type) which you can customize. (Note - I do not know whether the shareware version of WindowBlinds will save the settings between reboots, so you may need to reset each time.

As for Firefox, I have not used that browser in some time, but I think this may be an issue with some skins. Perhaps someone more familiar with that issue will drop by.

Wait so when the program is gone the skin won't work anymore!?


ummm...hence the word "trial"

when you test drive a car, you don't get to keep it for free when the test drive is over. you either buy it or you don't.

the software is worth every penny of the 20 dollars. 20 dollars for years of enjoyment with this software....think about that next time you drop 20 bucks on pizza or coffee or porn or whatever.

As far as the FireFox jumping screen just click on "View" and "Toolbars" and un-check "Bookmark Toolbar".
