The sexiest male/female of these decades was...

You the readers are gonna have to answer the question(s) for me here please.

Here's the setup, you deliver please.

The sexiest female of the 60's was: [ fill in blank ]

The sexiest female of the 70's was: [ fill in blank ]

.... 80's ...

.... 90's ... etc.

Female readers please name sexiest males, male readers please name sexiest females. (Those so inclined and authoritative on members of the same sex may answer appropriately also, but the idea is to name people you feel were sexiest).

Answers should come from the realm of celebs (hah! you thought you were gonna get to answer "me" for yourselves, didn't you?!) and not the every day common folk please.

Start with the decade of your youthful awakenings... The time you would have noticed someone as sexy please. I know you may tip your ages in doing so, and you needn't feel you have to go back too far if so, but I'm hoping to see some general consensus come through on who we feel is sexiest from the various decades. I'll try to answer myself shortly.

I'll start out with the 70's (my teen years) and say that to me the 70's were the time of Farrah Fawcett and the rest of "Charlies Angels" My personal favorite of the bunch was actually Jacklyn Smith (Farrah was nice, but Jacklyn had a more wholesome appearance to me), but I think Farrah was the definitive choice for that time frame. Of course others may offer different suggestions and I'm willing to have someone try to change my mind here.

80's I have to think about a bit more. I might have said Christie Brinkley, but she lost something once she married Billy Joel. I give her huge props on the hawtness scale though. Her riding along teasin' Chevy Chase in the vacation movies was pretty smokin'

90's, I really don't know. Not that I wasn't paying attention, just that there were tons of choices. Shoot, I had almost forgotten this potential choice until I googled a bit... My winner here: Heather Locklear. Again, she loses some points for that marriage to Tommy Lee and then later to Richie Sambora of the group Bon Jovi, but she was pretty smoking. It helps that she had started the rise up the scale in the 80's and then started peaking in the 90's with Melrose Place. Another 90's candidate for me would be Teri Hatcher. She was pretty hawt in Lois and Clark and then got better along the way, including the guest turn on Seinfeld.

In the 2000's (to this point), I'm thinking there are several possible candidates, but Tyra Banks and Halle Berry are good choices. Of the two, I might prefer Halle, but I'd love to have Tyra try to change my mind

I'll skip the 60's since I didn't exist then. I really was too young to think anyone was really sexy in the 70's but I still had a huge crush on John Schneider as the handsome Bo Duke. So I'll have to vote for him for sentimental reasons. In the 80's, Jon Bon Jovi, my high school crush. In the 90's, I'll say Ricky Martin. He is such a pretty man. And now it would have to be Hugh Jackman.

I just don't get the Sean Connery thing. Even when he was young. Too each his own I guess but I still don't get it.
