Neat feature

During my present game, I accidentally started the game while playing a music cd with media player. The music from the cd and the game played simultaneously. When I turned the game sound down, I heard just the cd music, and the game played stabily. Nice.

I also noticed that when a messge comes in on aol instant messanger, the game minimizes , and after chatting, I can maximize the game and keep on playing.

I have noticed the same minimising behavour when BlackICE decides it wants to report on GalCiv. Its certainly a nice touch.

I've been doing the same thing, but don't hav any visualizations on when playing the game. It really slooooows the game down.

Yeah...I get this too. I have ZoneAlarm running, and the game minimizes when ZoneAlarm displays an alert. The game runs smoothly after maximising. Fine work.
