Io Interactive, the house behind Eidos' recent hit, Hitman: Blood Money, has begun work on a new intellectual property. Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is an upcoming third-person shooter for PC and Xbox 360, with full co-op play, squad tactics and online multiplayer content. GameInformer's cover story let us see into the title's hook, the story's tagline reads "Kane & Lynch: A Mercenary, A Psychopath, A bundle of cash...What could go wrong?"
According to an Eidos financial report from 2004, Io Interactive was working on a sequel to their well-received Freedom Fighters. The status of said sequel, which hasn't been mentioned since, is currently unknown.
