How do I Hide the Task Bar

Does anyone know how to hide the taskbar so that that little lines does not show or make sure it does not pop up when you put the mouse near the edge of the screen?

Without using third party software, no, I don't. But DesktopX can hide it completely, as can ObjectDock and ObjectBar (I imagine Right Click might do it too).

Right click on your taskbar and select properties. Where it says TaskBar Appearance select "Auto-hide the taskbar". When you put the cursor to the bottom of the screen it should pop up.

Oh and make sure you have "Keep taskbar on top of other windows" selected.

You could stick a long piece of opaque tape about 1/2 inch wide along the bottom of your monitor.

I got a program from Taskbar Hide and it does the trick. Thanks though.
