New Game Error

I bought a ship in Torian Space to get a look at some territory that I couldn't see. I tried to put the ship, a Starfighter, on AutoAttack, even though it was outside my range. I got the standard message about having to power down and put the crew in stasis to return. Unfortunately, though, clicking the done button does nothing. This isn't quite a CTD, but it will have the same result (kill the game process and restart).
