.X file models and plug-ins

where to put the plug-in?

I got the panda plug-in and the alamo plug-in (a plug-in that allow me to edit .alo files)

so where do I need to put them to get them work!??

Pretty sure the panda plugin doesn't get "put" anywhere--just run the installer, then it should appear as an option in 3dsm.

maybe my plug-in path is worng... it always sais this:

yeah but I wanna open .obj and it's not working and I pressed the panda.dle and no installer uppered... and when I'm done it won't save it as .X file fromat...

Hmm, thought there was an installer for it but it appears not.

Which versions of the plugin and max are you trying to use?

(and igonre that messege it's just for some question and there isn'y pms so: Kryo, I got everything working on the 3dsmax 8 (from my last post) and when i'm importing .obj file to the 3ds max it's working but it doesn't read the ready texture I got I need to render to texture to get the texture the 3ds make for me not the one that I want... reply me at my post of ".X file models and plug-ins")


As to that I couldn't say, I don't have any experience with 8 or importing from .obj.
