Cade: My thoughts on Tova7's novel-in-progress

In my humble opinion, this book belongs in every bookstore, next to the most popular modern novels.
The other night it took me about an hour to print out the first 25 chapters of Tova's novel. She gave me the go-ahead to do so, even though I didn't really ask, I just said, "Hey, can you give me your links so I can print this out?"
My printer was slow, and I had to manually collate the pages. But I didn't doubt it'd be worthwhile because she's a terrific writer and I was curious to see what she would do in the world of fiction. And I prefer reading print to a computer screen ANY DAY.
So here I am giving Cade a chance...it's a genre I wouldn't normally have ever tested...but I'm enjoying it.
I promised to give Tova feedback along the way. (Everyone read Cade if you get a chance! And leave comments!) Since I'm reading Cade away from the computer, I'll leave some of my thoughts here rather than going back to insert comments at the end of each of her chapters. If it's OK with Tova, I'll pass on the links to her novel at the end of my spiel.
I've read 7 whole pages so far, which in my Word Document printout brings me part way through chapter 4. I'm pausing so early in my reading to give Tova some feedback because if I don't seize the opportunity now, I may forget something. Also, my "real life" keeps me pretty busy, so I'm stealing a moment here after the family has fallen asleep. Here's what I've gleaned so far, and what I'm enjoying:
I'd classify the genre as part sci-fi, due to the setting opening on an alien planet with two suns. Part fantasy due to the inventive fictional names and setting. And part spiritual due to the "Legnas" which I immediately caught on as being "Angels" spelled backwards... (my friends & I used to play a childhood game of spelling and pronouncing our names backwards...and, well, my name was "Alegna.") Back to the point...the introduction of the Legnas at the beginning of Chapter 2 had me instantly absorbed. I love the idea of guardian angels, and so few people believe in such things, much less talk or write about them, that these characters made me feel a sense of comfort that may perhaps serve as an anchor as the story unfolds.
The device of female sexuality that opens chapter 3...very Hollywood. But I understand the need and the appeal for it. It's natural, everyone can identify with sexuality, it's beautiful and familiar. So it brings the book all the more to life and will have the male readers engrossed. In fact, I can easily see every bit of this book played out on a movie screen.
This book ...I wonder why Tova is trusting the seemingly- ungrateful JoeUser community with her work of art...rather than GOING STRAIGHT TO A PUBLISHER!!?? Yes, Tova, in my humble opinion, this book belongs in every bookstore, next to the most popular modern novels.
OK, I'm going off to bed to read some more now. I feel compelled to show Tova my library card in exchange for the privilege of reading this...or to PAY her, as I would be paying the author if I bought the book off the shelf. Well when that happens I'll always be able to say that "I knew her when..."
