Have a couple of questions...

1.  Is there any way to change the backround of a DesktopX theme while keeping the widgets/objects that comes with the theme?  For example, Aero-XP, I want to change the backround of the grassy field to a wallpaper of my liking? Is this possible?

2.  Or for another theme like Darkzone, there are the tabs that you can hover your cursor over and a menu will dropdown with a list of applications.  For example, the media tab has a few like Winamp and such but I don't have Winamp.  So I right clicked it and chose "remove".  Now how do I add applications to the list?  Say for example I want to add Windows Media Player or DVD Player.  How do I do this?

3.  I wanted to know about starting Windows with the DesktopX Theme already in place?  Is that possible?  I know when I restarted windows before, I'd have to wait for DesktopX to load the theme.  Is it possible to have the theme already there and in place when Windows starts?

Thanks for your help guys.  I will really appreciate it.

1 right click desktop click on configure desktopX then click on Desktop tab. Then click on wallpaper tab and navigate to the wall you want.. while your here click on the preference tab and check Run automatically when windows starts....

2 The easiest way to do this is to right click on an existing name of a program (TEXT) click clone object and then right click on the new TEXT and go to properties On the general tab where it says location change it by clicking on browse and find the program EXE. that you want and click on it..then go to the states tab and change the text to read the name of the program that you want..When you do it this way you will have all the effects of the text all ready done for you.. Don't forget to change the text in each state such as mouse away, mouse over and mouse down..also you can change the object ID on the summary tab if the author gave it an ID.. in the future if you want to change the program just right click on something you don't have and change it with this process.....minus the clone part....

good luck and enjoy....

For number 3 I don't think thats possible altho I have not experiemented with DesktopX Themes all that much. Because it is a program, it has to load. Windowblinds is (as far as I know) intergrated into explorer.exe which loads WITH windows therefore loading windowblinds with it. DesktopX doesn't do this.

Thats what I think anyway... please correct me if I am wrong.

For number 3 - just open the builder config. and under 'preferences' tick 'run automatically when windows starts'.
