XP themes dont properly install

When I install a new windows xp theme the sounds, desktop, and icons all show up, but the theme goes to the windows classic. I have tried to install about 7 different themes and they all did the same thing. Am I doing something wrong? What should I do?

Please post links to the themes in question, and post the text from the "System Information" link in WB configuration panel (lower left side of panel).

Note - this assumes you are referring to WindowBlinds 5.

This theme did not need windowblinds to be installed, it was a regular windows theme. Here is the link http://www.appleblossomart.net/XPStyles/Legends-IV-XPStyles.htm .

That one requires the program called StyleXP to run, a product by TGT Soft.

And if your concerned about programs running in the background...you'll love the one mentioned above...StyleXP...it hacks your system.
