| I'll try to help a little. The files called ico are used by Icon Packager although Windows and some other Stardock programs can use them also. These usually come in theme sized files that you download. Icon files used by Icon Packager as themes change all or most of the icons used by Windows. The icons displayed on your taskbar (that's the bar you were given help with moving to the top of the screen) are there for launching programs and don't have to be moved anywhere. So when you say you found some icons in object bar, I'm not sure what you mean. Did you download some files from Stardock from the object bar section and now you want to know what to do with them? I'm assuming that's your question. In any case png files aren't really icons, a png file is a graphcal format for storing data and can be any size. But if the png file is a graphical image made to look like an icon there are programs here at Stardock that will use them. Both ObjectDock and DesktopX can use png files. Sounds like you need some time to read the tutorial files around here. Maybe Corky or some others can give you some links to some of these tutorials that will help also. |
