Annoying with changing wallpaper

I am new to DesktopX. I am using a theme called Fusion.

I change the default wallpaper by
1)right click-->settings-->display properties
2)switch on DesktopX builder-->configure DesktopX builder-->desktop-->wallpaper
3)edit the wallpaper file in the theme file

After changing the wallpaper, I cannot save properly. So when I restart the theme, the original wallpaper appears. The wallpaper I have changed is

Is there a particular way to change wallpaper??

Don't know what OS you are on, but it sounds like you are doing it right. You can try another method by changing wallpaper to "none" in DX properties then going to your wallpaper and right-click " set as desktop background
I have never had a problem with DX but I sometimes I do this so when my computer starts I will have the same wallpaper till DX can load. Hope this helps

I've never had to switch a DesktopX wall by going through Display Properties.

Open (in builder mode) "Configure DesktopX Builder..." > then choose the Desktop Tab > Select the "Wallpaper" option > click browse > then choose your wall > then click ok > then choose "Save-as" > Rename the File (I use Fusion_K's ed.) > now load the Desktop.

I have tested this, and it is fine here. I did however switch the wallpaper setting to "Center" and not "Stretch". Not that that should have any effect.

Thanks for your replies.
I've tried KiloKrash's method but I cannot save. After I click 'save', DesktopX shut down by itself.....
When I open it again, nothing change.....
