When will be released the new alpha build?

I don't know when the last alpha will be released, but there's been a lot of changes to it. . .

Some of the big ones are:

-left and right click functionality have been switched. Left click is now select and right click is now move.

-you will now be able to start a new game after having already started a game.

-your setup settings will be saved so that the next time you go to start a game, they'll be there.

-keyboard focus works better, so that if you go into an anomoly you can hit enter to get rid of it, and you shouldn't lose focus when moving around with the keyboard.

-there's now a slight pause before auto jumping to the next ship.

We want to get the saved games in so that if someone has a crash, they can send us the saved game.

without being able to load the game they would not know if the save feature was working properly. So yes, it will have load game feature

What, you mean that code doesn't automatically work if it compiles?

I used to have a teacher in college who would give us HUGE assignments. If the program compiled, he'd glance through our heavily commented source code (probably doing random spot checks) and then grade it. So you could have a program that technically didn't work but if it compiled and didn't have any obvious flaws, you could get a good grade. Not that it didn't take us hours to get it to a compilable state anyway...

If it compiles ship it. If it doesn't, ship it and promise a patch.

And we always wondered why most of the new kids fresh out of college could not write
executable code. :notsure:

About loading a saved game, it would be helpful to see a screenshot of the game. I save alot when I play and most of the time I forget which save is which. :notsure:
