SEGA has announced that the mildly reviewed Sonic Riders will be heading to the PC this holiday season. Sonic Riders takes the SEGA mascot to the combat-racing genre strapping players onto 'air boards' at insane speeds. As with any good combat racing title, Sonic Riders comes complete with tricks and power-ups that will help propel players to the finish line.
"Sonic Riders adds a new and exciting dimension to PC racing games," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "The blending of the action-racing genre and the Sonic franchise has created a racing game that is appealing and accessible to both Sonic fans and casual gamers alike."
The title will feature a single-player campaign as well as two multi-player modes, spanning 13 highly detailed tracks. An added bonus, Sonic Riders is set to retail for the budget price of $19.99.
