That depends on the particular file, and what you consider 'much ram'. I have 1.5 GB of RAM, so my definition of memory use would be different than if I only had 256 MB.

Im embarressed to admit I have barely even that amount - yet I cant still run most of the programs etc.

The only program that gave me trouble when I had 256 of ram was cursor xp and maybe object dock. Other than that, I have never had a problem. Now I have 1gb or ram. I can run as many stardock progs at the same time as I want.

The only bug I've gotten from here is the skinning bug

If you are looking for spyware, viruses, and trojans in any of these products all you have to do is download one from some P2P site. The material on this site is 100% free of junk. None of the zip files have corrupted .exe files. There are no fake links to take you to some scam site. No pop ups suddenly start appearing. It is all clean.

Not to say ALL skinning sites are "bad" and I won't mention the ones that are.

But, WinCustomize.com is just one of the few I'll name out there that still has integrity. There is absolutally NO spyware, adware or anything of the above to be "caught" from this site.

WinCustomize.com's Staff as I've said, has intergrity. You'll never "catch" any "bad stuff" here!

1. I did not think bugmenot worked at WC, maybe something they need to look into.
The reason it should not work here is that registered members ( non subscribers ) have a download limit. Downloading by using bugmenot you are using up that persons limit.
2. Since you have posted to ask the question you have, there is some interest in WC and the content. If you are interested why not take the 2 min. and register.

I'd suggest that the site in question gets "audited" and all users found be exiled.
