Citizen, ensign, lietenant?

I have seen many people with diffrent "rank", im curious, what does it exactly mean and how do you rise from the low suburbs of the citizen class?

If it works the same as in other Forums the ranks are assigned based upon the number of posts you make.

I may be wrong, but I'm not convinced that the Designations have anything to do with the number of posts.

You are promoted on the basis of the kind of effective help you give toward the game. The people who get promoted the most are the ones who provide the most effective help to the game and to stardock. Bug fixes, attitude, suggestions, ideas, support and encouragement all count here. The issue here is quality not quantity, though.

Based on general contribution to the community and such. We look for people who provide constructive criticism, are helpful to others, and all around people you want to have in any community.

So it counts up alot for me since I was able to convince at least one forum visitor to buy Drengin ;)
