How much game time does a turn represent?
If you capture a planet, is it yours, or do you have to ask for it in a treaty?
If you capture a planet, can you produce out of it?
Is the AI beatable for the below-average player at the below-average difficulty levels?
If I attack a ship, is it Civ style where one just vanishes, or do I see then firing back and forth, or what's the animation for this?
How does retreating work?
Is it possible to play without building/owning any warships?(complete pacifist)
Can all ships explore, or just survey ships?
Can you win without being expansionistic? No taking of planets by force, culture, colonization... at least when not at war, and always giving them back at the end of war?(starbases allowed in your sector and along trade routes)
Is it possible to win without being expansionistic without a military? (starbases allowed only along trade routes)
Basically... could you make Terran Federation a minor and still have a fun game? It's not so much the winning with those as it is being part of the world as a minor and seeing the others interact.
