Strange war game - overkill unit
from
Stardock Forums
In my third game, I had my explorer ship (eh whatsitcalled, the one that can explore all the objects) run around the galaxy, collecting mostly powerups.
This resulted in the ship being a "super ship". Now, I'm not complaining, but...
It had 11 in attack and 58 in defense, and abour 120 hp.
It singlehandedly defeated three empires, with them throwing EVERYTHING they had at my foremost planet, and every single ship they sent being destroyed. About 3-6 ships per round, without a scracth to my ship??
Gameplay balance is a little out of depth here
Another thing... is it impossible to have a game without going to war with almost every single species?
Everyone was out to get me at the end.
My belief was, after reading on the website here, that technological victory was possible - NAH - not when I had to make ships every round to stay even.
seems like a great game though, but still needs some balancing.
Perhaps - no that is for another thread
