"There is no disk in the drive..."
from
Stardock Forums
Hello
I´m a new user here.
I downloaded desktopX earlier today from donwload.com and I installed the program on an external drive due to storage reason on c:(primary).
The installtion went well but when I try to boot a new theme I just get the error message
"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk2\DR3".
After some Googleing I figured that it had something to do with the fact that it was installed on a external drive.
So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it on C: but the problem remained.
All themes, and the installation are now located on C: but i still get the same eroor message.
The setup is still located on my external drive but I can't see a reason that it would matter.
Even though I uninstalled desktopX the "start" bar disappered and won´t show no matter what I do. And when i play VLC and sets it on "be on top of everything else" it still gets coverd when I open up a new window.
If you know what to do to solve this problem I would be more then happy too.
