Do the wincustomize values hold sway here?

I just went to Wincustomize to edit my account to get more days of threads here, but it seems
to not have changed how many days of threads I get. It was seven days before I changed my
account to 50 days and it is still seven days.

I am looking for some of the old threads so that I can put closure statements in them.

Since the wincustomize site prefs sets in a cookie for www.wincustomize.com it dont affect to cookie for www.galciv.com. Until they make a account-prefs edit dialog in the galciv-site (or solve it in another way) you'll have go to the old aplha-site to browse the forum.
