My mouse pointer disappears in game...

Hi all,

Anyone else have this very strange problem? During a game my mouse pointer will simply disappear. When I move my mouse around, the buttons get highlighted as if I was hovering my mouse pointer over them. I can still click and work the various buttons as long as the button is highlighted. I'm essentially playing with an invisible mouse pointer. When I'm able to close out the game my pointer is still invisible when I get back to the desktop. I have to physically restart my computer to get it back again. This is the only game this happens on so I know it is the game causing this problem. Any ideas?

Is it enabled?

If you are running an Nvidia card it should be.

I would imagine it would have to be as I will be playing for quite awhile before this happens. Actually I wasn't entirely accurate in my description. All of a sudden the mouse pointer freezes in one place and doesn't move anymore but I can still highlight and click menu buttons and whatnot with my "invisible" pointer. While the actual visible pointer is just stuck somewhere on the screen. This happens sometimes 5 minutes into a game and other times will happen hours into a game. Very weird.

Check for what? If it wasn't enabled it wouldn't work right from the start. That would not be the cause of having a fully functional mouse hours into a game and then having it suddenly freeze up. But yeah, I did check.
