My fiancee is not in the military but is on the otherside of the world (literally). You haven't said much about what tools you have available to communicate nor stated much about much else. So vague question receive vague answer?

It sounds like he is in prison?

The reality is - 10 years is a very long time.

All you can do is visit as often as possible and write everyday.

I'm with Jen it is possible but I don't know much about what options are available. Like internet chat, email, phone, snail mail, etc. Communication is the key.
